Freeborn County Public Health reported the death of a person who had tested positive for COVID-19. The victim was a person in their 80s. An additional twelve cases were reported in the county on Sunday, bringing the total count since the pandemic started to 454. There are 42 active cases of the disease in Freeborn County with one person hospitalized. Seven new cases were reported in Mower County, one in Waseca County along with two new deaths there, four in Dodge County, and one in Faribault County.
