The Austin Police Department is reminding residents that it is illegal to hunt in city limits. The warning comes after a 27-year old Austin man was cited Tuesday morning for an illegal driveby hunting incident in which he shot a squirrel with a pellet gun from his vehicle. He also was fined for hunting without a license. Police advise it is also illegal to discharge a BB or pellet gun in city limits.
