The Albert Lea Tribune reports that Kaitlin Goforth of Albert Lea will participate in the virtual Boston Marathon today. The Boston Marathon is usually run in April, but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Goforth is a physician assistant in the orthopedic department at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea and a volunteer coach for Albert Lea’s cross country team. She’s running today’s virtual Boston Marathon in Worthington where she grew up.
