An Austin man charged in connection to a home invasion and assault pleaded guilty Thursday in Mower County District Court. Cham Gilo, 21, of Austin is facing multiple charges in connection to the Feb. 16 incident at a 13th Street Northeast residence, where officers found a man beaten and bleeding. Gilo will be sentenced on Oct 21. His then girlfriend, Jaiden Schumacher, accused of hiding him, is currently awaiting a disposition hearing. She pleaded not guilty to aiding and abetting, and attempted murder charges.
