FREEBORN – The Freeborn Fire Department is touting a machine that assists first responders in administering CPR for making a difference in the community. According to officials the department has had a LUCAS machine for about 2 1/2 years, and requested funds for a second one during Wednesday’s city council meeting to assist when having to take an ambulance ride to Albert Lea from Freeborn.
