Three Austin residents recently made their first court appearances for cashing checks that belonged to dead woman

Three Austin residents recently made their first court appearances (Friday) in Mower County District Court for cashing checks that belonged to a dead woman. Nathaniel Jay Stahl, 32, Jodi Kay Grinder, 31, and Miriam Murillo Vazquez, 29, are accused of opening an account at Accentra’s Albert Lea branch on Oct. 21 and subsequently depositing several checks from the deceased woman’s account then withdrawing the money from the ATM. All three suspects remaind jailed on multiple charges.
