A woman had to be rescued after getting trapped in her vehicle in a one car crash in Steele County Tuesday evening. The Stelle County Sheriff’s Office and Owatonna Fire Department responded to the wreck in which the driver apparently lost control of her vehicle and overturned on Interstate 35 near Bridge Street. Reports on the police scanner indicated that a person was trapped inside the vehicle, which landed on its roof in the median. The victim was reportedly pulled to safety and rushed to a local hospital, according to multiple online media reports.
