Officials say online competition is greater than it has ever been before thanks to the pandemic. This year the so-called “Cyber Week” (Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday) could turn into “Cyber Months,” according to Adobe Analytics, which predicts that U.S. online sales for November and December will reach $189 billion, setting a new record.

As online holiday shopping swings into full gear, local law enforcement is warning residents not to fall victim to package theft. In a news release, officials recommended online shoppers protect their deliveries by having packages dropped off to a less visible area rather than the front porch, track packages, and bring them into your home immediately after they’re delivered. Residents can also install security cameras.
