One of two suspects accused in 2019 Austin home robbery sentenced

One of two suspects accused in a 2019 robbery of an Austin residence was recently sentenced. On Thursday a Mower County District judge ordered 20-year old Quincy James Towers, of Austin, who pleaded guilty to a charge of 2nd degree burglary, to five years of supervised probation and 40 hours of community service. The 20 year old is accused of breaking into a home on 1st Street SE where police say he and and a friend stole coins, hardware, electronics, a safe, guitars, and a credit card, according to court documents.
