The Mower County District 1 seat will be filled with a special election. During their Tuesday [Nov. 24] meeting the Board of Commissioners approved holding a special election for seat left vacant by the unexpected death of Commissioner Tim Gabrielson who was re-elected on Nov. 3. Gabrielson died Nov. 10. The filing period will run from Dec. 2, to Dec. 11. The Special General Election is scheduled for February 9, 2021.
