Suspect charged in shooting of Waseca police officer sentenced

ABC 6 News) – The suspect charged in the wounding of a Waseca police officer will spend more than 30 years behind bars for his actions. 37 year old Tyler Janovsky has been sentenced Friday to 35 years in prison for the incident in which Waseca police officer Arik Matson was shot in the head while responding to a call back in January. Officer Matson returned to the town of 300 two weeks ago after months of continued recovery.
