62 year old man charged in fatal head on collision south of Minnesota Lake

MINNESOTA LAKE – A 62 year old man involved in a fatal head on collision last Wednesday afternoon south of Minnesota Lake is facing felony criminal charges. Police said Michael Ray Johnson, of Elmore, had methamphetamine and appeared to be high after causing the crash on Highway 22 that killed a 67 year old Wells woman, charges say. Johnson also was charged Friday in Faribault County District Court with felony drug possession, according to the court complaint and State Patrol report.
