Alber Lea business owner in legal fight with Minnesota state government

ALBERT LEA, Minn. – One Alber Lea business owner in a legal fight with Minnesota state government over COVID-19 safety measures says she is “standing firm upon our unalienable rights.” The Minnesota Attorney General’s Office says it has been granted a restraining order against The Interchange Wine & Coffee Bistro in Albert Lea, directing it to stop offering onsite dining in violation of Governor Walz’ executive order. The Minnesota Department of Healt says it has also issued a cease-and-desist order and notice of license suspension to the restaurant.
