ALBERT LEA, Minn. – A 20 year old Albert Lea man convicted in a 2019 armed robbery has been sentenced. A judge ordered Nando Cristales-Paul Sanchez to two years of supervised probation in connection to the incident in which he pulled a gun on someone July 12, 2019, making off with the victim’s backpack. Officers later found the backpack and a black airsoft gun in a get awway car on Minnesota Avenue. The driver, a 21 year old Albert Lea woman, will stand trial for aiding and abbetting next year.
