An Austin man is facing jail time in connection to a fraud scheme. A judge said Monday that unless 63-year old Gordon Craig Perkins can pay the ordered restitution for the $500,000 he stole from Somerby Golf Course, he will be sentenced to prison. According to court documents, the 63 year old, who’d been employed at the club since 2011, used company credit cards to pay for medical bills, mani-pedi’s, air travel, hotels, and monthly mobile phone services for his family. A decision on sentencing is set for December 14th in Olmsted County District Court.
