(ABC 6 NEWS) – COVID 19 has some Austin restaurants on thin ice after Minnesota Governor Tim Walz announced new safety measures last month. Some bars and restaurants have added temporary hours to be able to stay open, while other businesses in Austin are adding delivery services and new meal specials to stay afloat. The new protocols are set to end on December 18, with local mom and pop owned businesses hoping business will pick up during the Christmas holiday.
