Multiple deaths related to COVID-19 were reported in the area. According to data released Wednesday by the Minnesota Department of Health, there were three deaths in Cottonwood County, two in Brown County, and one person in Freeborn County died from the virus. Other counties reporting deaths included Lyon, Jackson, Mower, Nobles, Redwood, and Rice.
