The Minnesota Department of Health is reporting nearly 9,000 new cases of COVID-19 and 57 more deaths Sunday, according to the latest update. These numbers bring Minnesota’s coronavirus totals to over 312,960 cases and more than 3,570 deaths.

(ABC 6 News) – Minnesota health officials are bracing for more COVID cases and deaths from the Thanksgiving holiday. Health officials say over the next two to three weeks they are expecting to see a rise in the number of infections. Gov. Tim Walz said he’s hopeful emergency use authorization for Pfizer’s vaccine will be ready by Dec. 11.
