Two suspects, including a juvenile, are in custody in connection to shots fired Sunday morning near a Northwest Austin residence. The Austin Police Department found several shell casings in the 900 block of Third Avenue Northwest, and said 24 year old Eric Starnes and a 15 year old runaway believed to be tied to the shooting have been arrested. A handgun was later located near Second Avenue Northwest where the officers found the teen suspect hiding. The case is still under investigation, police said in a news release.
