Rochester man struck while standing in lane of traffic on I-35 hospitalized

The name of a Rochester man hospitalized in Albert Lea after he was struck by a vehicle while standing in a lane of traffic on I-35 in Freeborn County Saturday morning has been released. The State Patrol incident report does not explain why 29-year-old Bobby Rhodes was on the snow and ice covered freeway when he was hit as he stood near Clarks Grove, north of Albert Lea. He was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says.
