State seniors next in line for COVID vax

Minnesota is launching a new pilot program to expedite COVID-19 vaccinations of people age 65 and older. The program also includes plans to distribute a share of the limited vaccines for child care and school staff. Nine community vaccination sites will be opened around the state Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of this week, according to a press release from the Governor’s Office. Eligible Minnesotans can schedule their vaccination appointment on the state’s COVID vaccination website beginning Tuesday.
