FOREST CITY, Iowa – A 28 year old Lake Mills man charged in two 2020 Winnebago County drug cases has accepted a plea deal. A judge ordered Michael Lee Groe to three to five years of supervised probation and drug abuse counseling. Groe has also pleaded guilty to possession of meth in Worth County after a traffic stop uncovered methamphetamine in his vehicle. No sentencing date has been set in that case.
