Austin, MN – A young woman was killed and a juvenile girl was severely injured Saturday when they were struck by an SUV in rural Austin. Mower County Sheriff Steve Stanvik says the deadly incident was reported around 7:40 PM on Mower County Road 46 near the Austin Country Club on the northeastern edge of the city. The victims were found on the roadway while the vehicle was in the ditch.
