In spite of slowdowns related to the COVID-19 pandemic, plans for a bronze statue of Marion Ross dressed as Mrs. Cunningham from “Happy Days” is progressing. The bronze statue will be installed on the corner of Broadway and Water Street, with Ross, who is from Albert Lea, sitting on a bench holding her hand out inviting visitors to take a seat beside her for a photo op. An unveiling of the Happy Days stauette is scheduled for July 2.
