Plea hearing set for Kensett man involved in high speed police chase

A Kensett man arrested after being involved in a high speed police chase last August is expected to accept a plea deal. Justin Mulliner was due in court for a pre-trial conference on Monday, but court records show that a plea and sentencing hearing has been scheduled for March 29th in Worth County District Court. The Worth County Sheriff’s Department says a deputy attempted to pull over the 37-year-old on August 3rd, and he sped off prompting a police pursuit in which the suspect ran a stop sign at 370th and State Highway 9, almost striking another vehicle, before surrendering to police.
