Minnesota officer involved in fatal traffic stop shooting resigns

BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. – The Minnesota officer involved in the shooting death of 20-year-old Daunte Wright has called it quits after 20+ years. Kim Potter said the fatal shooting was an accident, according to Champlin Police Chief Ty Schmidt. The Washington County Attorney’s Office reported Tuesday that they may have enough information to charge Potter by Wednesday.
