Fourth of July festivities turned fatal for an Albert Lea woman

(ABC 6 News) – Fourth of July festivities turned fatal for an Albert Lea woman. Iowa State Patrol says, 59-year-old Mary Nienow was killed and three others were hurt after a 75-year-old driver struck multiple people during an Independence Day parade Saturday on Main Street in the city of Slater. Three other people were injured from the crash including a six-year-old, according to state patrol. The accident remains under investigation.
