(ABC 6 News) – The name of a woman fatally shot in Austin early Saturday morning has been released.
Police responded to a woman in distress call and found 20 year old TyEsha Gills with a gunshot wound. Austin police and first responders attempted to give lifesaving aid but she later died. Police called this a targeted shooting and said this is Austin’s third homicide since December.

A suspect has been identified in connection to TyEsha Gills death. Police have issued a warrant for Me’Darian Ledale McGruder of Austin. He is facing a charge of 2nd-degree murder.
