Austin police are investigating a Saturday morning homicide after a woman was found dead inside a home.
According to the Austin Police Department, officers responded to a report of a woman who had been shot at a residence on 10th Street NW and EMS provided aid to the victim before she was rushed to Mayo Clinic Health System hospital, where she died. The victim’s identity is pending an autopsy. Police do not believe the incident was random and said they are working to determine what led to the deadly shooting.
