Albert Lea Area schools are masking up to help curb COVID cases

ALBERT LEA, Minn. – Albert Lea Area schools shifted to universal masking for all staff and students K-12 in an effort to stop the spread of COVID19. At a school board meeting Monday night the superintendent says universal masking will remain in place until the Freeborn County COVID daily case rate drops below 150 for seven consecutive days. If the daily rate continues to climb the mandate will remain in effect.
