Some residetns in Mower and Mitchell County were rushed to safety after a fire flare up near their homes Tuesday. In a Facebook post, the Mower County Sheriff’s Office says, crews responded to a hog confinement fire near 110th Street in Adams, indicating a possible chemical release. The Mower County Sheriff’s Office went door to door to evacuate residents.
