(ABC 6 News) – Sumner Elementary in Austin took part in the annual flag walk Wednesday as part of a week-long celebration of Welcoming Week in Austin. Students created a flag representing a cultural heritage, then walked a short parade route through the neighborhood. School leaders said the walk is just one way to celebrate all of the different cultures Austin has.
