A woman was arrested in Albert Lea after a bullet was fired into a hotel room. The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office says they responded to reports of gunfire at the Motel 6 on Main Street East Friday night and found the suspect within minutes a short distance from the motel with a gun. Charges against the 31-year-old Mason City, Iowa woman are currently pending further investigation, a release states.
