A 38-year-old Alden man made his first appearance in Freeborn County District Court Thursday on nearly a dozen child pornography charges. James Alan Rambo is facing 11 felony counts following an investigation in which the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office received a cyber-tip and detectives allegedly uncovered over 100,000 child pornographic items, of which over 29,000 were known victims from the Internet Crimes Against Children, including victims under 3 years old, court documents state. Rambo remains jailed on a $50,000 bond. His next court date is set for Oct. 28.
