The Freeborn County Board of Commissioners were presented with a proposal to bring a Freedom Rock to the community. A representative of the American Legion Riders in Albert Lea came before the commissioners Tuesday with the idea for the 12-foot-tall boulder that honors veterans and brings awareness of veterans and patriotism. Freeborn County Administrator Tom Jensen said he would put the proposal on the agenda at an upcoming board workshop.
