A rural Austin shed was damaged after catching fire. According to Mower County Sheriff’s officials, deputies responded to the 57000 block of 240th Street in rural Austin last week [Oct. 15] and found the shed fully engulfed in flames. No injuries were reported. The estimated loss of the shed and the property within is over $200,000. The Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office was forwarded a copy of the report and the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
