Hearings on Monday in Mower County District Court saw two predators cop a plea to felony charges of criminal sexual conduct. Jerome Anthony Watkins, 31, of Austin pleaded guilty to accusations he sexually abused a 16-year-old girl several times starting when she was 13. Watkins will be sentenced on Feb. 4. In a second case, several charges were dismissed against Daniel Jim as part of the plea agreement. The 22 year old Arkansas resident is accused of climbing through a woman’s bedroom window and raping her while she slept. His sentencing date is set for Dec. 16.
