An Albert Lea man convicted in a Februrary theft was sentenced. A judge ordred Javier Torres to 5 years probation for third degree burglary charges stemming from an investigation by the Lake Mills Police Department on February 1, 2021. Torres was sentenced to prison but it was suspended as part of a plea agreement. He will have to pay restitution to his victims.
