AUSTIN, Minn. – ABC 6 News) – The Austin Police Department released video Thursday in which a man is seen robbing a taxi driver. The video shows the masked man sitting in the backseat of the taxi when he attempts to take money from the driver before a lengthy struggle ensues. The Austin Police Department said it was called to 10th St NW and West Oakland where the driver said the perpatrator “aggressively” took nearly $100 from him while he was working in an AB Taxi. No injuries were reported. Police are hoping someone can ID the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call the APD.
