An Albert Lea man has been sentenced in connection to an August crime spree. A Freeborn County District Court judge ordered Michael Paul Hubers to serve six years and three months in prison for breaking into a garage on Aug. 11, and then fleeing police who attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle, before he sped off leading officers on a short chase that ended with a brief foot chase before he was taken into custody. He received credit for time already served.
