An Austin man facing a felony domestic assault charge has been sentenced. A Mower County District Court judge ordered 57-year old Daniel Christ Wendroth Friday to serve four years probation for the April 14th incident at an Austin residence. A prison sentence of a year and a day was stayed for four years if Wendroth complies with the 17 different terms of his probation. Wendroth pleaded guilty to the charge on October 22nd, and he was convicted the same day. A felony charge of terroristic threats in the case was dismissed as part of his plea deal.
