WORTH COUNTY, Iowa – What caused a barn fire Tuesday night near Bolan is being investigated. Firefighters said the shed near 400th and Thrush, described as an older structure, with a grain cart stored inside, is a total loss, according to a release from the Worth County Sheriff’s Office. How the fire started has yet to be determined.
