Des Moines whose 2011 child sexploition case was dismissed in Winnebego facing new charges

FOREST CITY – A Des Moines man whose 2011 child sexploitation case in Winnebago County was dismissed is facing new charges after a backlog of untested sexual assault kits linked him to the crime. The new evidence allowed prosecutors to file a new charge against Billy John Tucker, who’s accused of having inappropriate contact with an eight-year-old child at a residence in Lake Mills. Tucker pleaded not guilty at an arraignment hearing Tuesday. His trial is set for January 12.
