Fun turned fatal for two Minnesota men killed in Yellowstone NP avalanche

Fun turned fatal for two Minnesota men killed in an avalanche while snowmobiling in Yellowstone National Park. According to Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center, the men were riding snowmobiles on Scotch Bonnet Mountain Monday (December 27) and got trapped in the snow. When two other riders came to help, they triggered an avalanche. Authorities said the two Minnesota residents were carried down the mountain slope and covered by four to five feet of snow. Neither survived.
