(ABC 6 NEWS) – Lumanaries lined Lakeview Boulevard at the second annual “Light Up the Lake” in Albert Lea Sunday evening. Organizers with the Albert Lea Convention and Visitors Bureau had the idea for the first time last year during the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown. One organizer said they wanted something the city could look forward to during the winter. Paper bags with candles in them could be seen from Fountain to Lakeview Park.
