An Owatonna man was found guilty of a 2020 sexual assault. Andrew Donald Knott was convicted Dec. 10 in connection to the incident involving a Cook County woman who says Knott raped her while she was asleep at a condominium on Ski Hill Road Jan. 25. The 31 year old was also found guilty of an additional misdemeanor charge stemming from the incident, according to the criminal complaint. He faces up to 26 years in prison when he is sentenced. He remains in the Cook County jail as of Dec. 12.
