An Albert Lea high school guidance counselor is accused of sexual misconduct with a student. Richard J. Polley, 32, was charged in Freeborn County District Court on Friday, after the victim said the 32 year old sexually assaulted her at his home. The district said Polley is on paid administrative leave “pending the outcome of an investigation,” according to the criminal complaint. Polley is being held at the Freeborn County Jail. His next court date is scheduled for Jan. 27.
