(ABC 6 NEWS) – Austin continues to see growth in housing and infrastructrue in 2022. Over the past year, a new space opened for the farmers market, road repairs were done, and plans for new housing is in the works, with the former YMCA building being transformed into 91 apartment units expected to open by Spring 2023. Austin Mayor Steve King also noted the creation of dozens of jobs, as construction is underway for the Nu-Tek BioSciences building.
