Austin man and his father face up to 5 years in prison for their role in deadly Jan. 6 Capital insurrection

An Austin, Mn., man who along with his father bragged on social media about how they were among the first to enter the U.S. Capitol building on January 6th, 2021, now face years in prison for their role in last year’s deadly insurrection. Daryl Johnson, and his son, 29-year-old son Daniel, recently pleaded guilty to civil disorder, according to a probable cause affidavit filed in federal court, multiple online sources report. The two men face a sentence of up to five years in prison and a fine of $20,000.
