Melissa “Lisa” Hanson spent Christmas day in an Albert Lea jail. The owner of the Interchange Wine and Coffee Bistro in Albert Lea was found guilty for violating the states ban on indoor dining during the pandemic and sentenced to 90 days in jail. Hanson has now filed a court order claiming Governor Walz’ executive orders were not legal, and that the Judge and City Attorney should be fired.
